Steamed Corn

  • 8 ears fresh corn, shucked
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste (optional)
  • Butter (optional)
  1. Place corn in a pot with an inch or two of salted water.
  2. Cover and cook over high heat until it is just hot, 10 minutes or less.
  3. Serve the corn with salt, pepper, and butter.
  4. Makes 4 servings.
