Hummus

  • 1 (15 oz.) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp. Tahini
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  1. Process first 9 ingredients in a food processor until blended.
  2. Gradually add water until desired consistency.
  3. Cover and chill for one hour.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
