Nao Ueda lives in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas, with her human partner, 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 chicken, 1 duck, and 60,000+ bees.
In 2006, Nao co-founded the Arkansas Sustainability Network (ASN). She started the ASN Local Food Club and helped coordinate the first ever green expo in Arkansas.
Nao currently serves on the Little Rock Sustainability Commission and Metroplan’s Regional Planning Advisory Council. She is an Arkansas Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate.
GreenAR by the Day began in 2008 as a way to chronicle Nao’s efforts to reduce her environmental footprint. It now covers all things green in the Natural State.
