Environmental Journalist to Speak at Clinton School
Lisa Song is a reporter for InsideClimate News, a Pulitzer prize-winning non-profit, non-partisan news organization that covers clean energy, carbon energy, nuclear energy, and environmental science. She reports on oil sands, pipeline safety, and natural gas drilling. She also helped write “The Dilbit Disaster” series, which won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. Energy Efficiency Focus of Putting Green to Work Lunch
Steve Patterson, executive director of the Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation (AAEF), will be the featured speaker at the Putting Green to Work lunch series at the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). The presentation coincides with the annual observance of National Pollution Prevention Week. The lunch will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 19 at the ADEQ Headquarters Building (5301 Northshore Drive) in North Little Rock.
