North Little Rock Church Supports Small Businesses & Gardeners with a Commercial Kitchen

First Presbyterian Church in North Little Rock’s Argenta Historic District has opened a Kitchen Incubator for use by community groups and small businesses. Kitchen Incubators foster entrepreneurship by reducing new and small businesses’ need to make large upfront investments in equipment or rental space. They are ideally suited for use by caterers, local food entrepreneurs, and community groups teaching food preparation or preservation. Illinois River Watershed Partnership to Host Watershed Academy for Kids

Register for the Illinois River Watershed Partnership’s annual Watershed Camp for Kids! The Watershed Camp for Kids is an entire day of fun and discovery held at the Illinois River Watershed Partnership’s newly established Watershed Sanctuary at the Lake in Cave Springs, Arkansas. New Bike Repair Station Opens in North Little Rock

The City of North Little Rock, in partnership with the Mello Velo cycling group, installed a new bike repair station on the North Little Rock River Trail, beneath the Main Street Bridge. The repair station has an air pump and tools that can be used to make most minor adjustments and repairs to your bike. The City and the Mello Velo group have so far installed four bike repair stations on the River Trail.
